How many people around the world can say they live in a place covered in shore diving sites that you can simply park your car, walk down the sand in to the water, and see things like sea horses, bull rays, lion fish, cuttlefish and so much more?! This is one of the things I love about Perth, Western Australia the most!
The Ammo Jetty at Woodman Point, Perth is one of my favourites. The jetty is just long enough to spend an hour pottering up and down/ It’s only 6-8m deep all the way along so there’s plenty of natural light to help with photos.
At certain times of year you can strike it lucky to see seahorses giving berth… something I’m yet to see for myself.
Just a casual week-day dive in November …
Taken with Olympus TG-3 Camera – all natural light.
